About Jeanette Krogstad

Jeanette brings over 30 years of hands-on physical therapy experience to her clients. She is a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) and a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) and has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic, sports rehabilitation, acute care and home health. Jeanette offers a wide variety of treatment options customized to each patient thanks to extensive continuing education including functional manual physical therapy, visceral and neural-meningeal mobilization, soft tissue and joint mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, lower extremity biomechanics and dynamic stabilization activities, including the IPA’s CoreFirst Strategies approach to patient self-care.

Jeanette believes clients can achieve their maximum physical potential through an integrated approach of skilled evaluation and treatment of the musculoskeletal system as directed toward restored maximal efficiency, partnered with therapeutic exercises targeted at identified muscle imbalances in order to return clients to their desired levels of activity and fitness. Jeanette enjoys keeping abreast of current research in Physical Therapy and is excited to share her passion for physical therapy while teaching and mentoring PT’s for the Institute of Physical Art.

Jeanette lives in Sunnyvale with her family and loves to stay active outdoors with cycling, hiking, swimming and snow skiing.
