About Linda Costello
Linda Krysiak Costello, PT, FOC, CFMT
Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 1982. She began her professional career working at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan advancing to team leader of the Closed Head Injury unit. She moved on to outpatient care working both as Senior Therapist and Sports Medicine Coordinator, and is currently working in private practice.
Linda began her relationship with the IPA in 1983, as a course participant in PNF One and Two, and became an instructor in 1988, progressing to Primary Instructor in PNF One, and assisting in CFS. She completed, with distinction, her Functional Orthopedic Certification in 2006, and completed, with honors, her Certified Functional Manual Therapy in 2015. Other continuing education pursuits include mobilization theories of Stanley Paris, the Norwegian approach, Muscle Energy, and others. She has assisted in a dance injury program through the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University, presented at TBI conferences, and has been a guest lecturer at Oakland University, Wayne State University, and UofM Flint Physical Therapy program.
