About Kent Keyser
Kent Keyser graduated from the Cal State University Northridge/UCLA Physical Therapy Program in 1978. He has worked primarily in sports physical therapy / athletic training and orthopedic manual therapy in the Northwest since 1978. Mr. Keyser continued his post-graduate education with graduate studies in kinesiology, athletic training and anatomy, and earned a Masters of Science degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Oregon. He has taken over 300 continuing education courses and is certified at the advanced level in manipulative therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), for which he is a BOD/faculty/clinical instructor. Mr. Keyser is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the APTA, and has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) for 14 years. Mr. Keyser first attended FO I with Gregg Johnson in 1985, has been teaching FO I for the Institute of Physical Art since 1989, and is currently a Trainer/Primary Instructor. He is also a Founding member of the Board of Directors for the Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) program with IPA. Presently, Mr. Keyser provides outpatient care at his private practice in Eugene, OR. He teaches continuing education courses for several providers, including adjunct faculty work for Touro College of Health Sciences, Bay Shore, NY.
