Karin Hilfiker

Karin graduated from Hunter College in NYC in 2005, achieved advanced certification in Functional Manual Therapy (FMT) in 2013.   She has lived and worked all over the globe and only recently returned to NYC from an extended stay in London, where she worked in a top-notch multidisciplinary sports clinic.  She has previously worked with professional dancers in New York City and London, including backstage treatments at the New York City Ballet, Radio City Music Hall, and various Broadway shows. From 2013-2014, she served as clinical co-director at VARDAN, a clinic dedicated to FMT in Delhi India, treating patients and mentoring a team of local therapists.  In 2008 she completed a residency at the renowned Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) program in California, a hands on approach developed to teach and strengthen optimum motor patterns.

A former modern dancer and long time yoga practitioner and salsa dance enthusiast, Karin brings to her work a love of movement and a passion to help others achieve health and wellness.
