About Ethan Warner
Ethan B. Warner PT, DPT, CFMT was born and raised in Northern Virginia and grew up participating in a wide array of sports and activities. He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Westmont College and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the George Washington University. He completed a 2.5 year residency in Orthopedics and Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) where he was mentored by Dr. Seth Blee PT, DPT, CFMT, head PT for the Washington Nationals MLB team and regional clinic director for INOVA Physical Therapy Centers. As a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT), Ethan treats patients with an integrated holistic approach to improving function, quality of life and decreasing pain. He is also certified in the Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) which is a helpful evaluation tool to assess complex movements and find the root of the problem.
Ethan has been an Orthopedic and Global Health section member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2010. He previously trained doctorate students as a clinical instructor at INOVA and currently lab assists many continuing education classes through the Institute of Physical Art. Ethan and his wife, Tammy, live in the greater Los Angeles area and enjoy the outdoors and a healthy, active lifestyle.
